5 money management tips for Stress Relief …

Filed under: Uncategorized — Donny Freedom @ 7:26 am

Many of us dream to have a lot of it and very few of us have more than we think we need.  It’s one of the 3 main stressors that keep many people awake at night.  Whether you’re living beyond your means or wondering how you’re going to have enough income for retirement all comes down to Money.

When you’re feeling financial pressure it can affect so many other areas of your life.  It can cause stress at work, anxiety attacks, insomnia, arguments, alcoholism, gambling and relationship break-ups just to name a few.

But there has to be something you can do about it, to manage your money and experience real natural stress relief.

With that in mind, here are 5 money management tips for Stress Relief:

—> Understand your worth – before you can live within your means you need to understand what your means are.  Gather a record of all your money, assets, investments and current cash (N.B. although credit cards and lines of credit are additional resources to make purchases, when we tap into them we decrease our spending power over the long haul with bank charges etc.)

—> Track your income – Really take a look at your income.  Measure it over the last 4 weeks or even better the last 13 weeks (the number of weeks in a quarter). Average it out by totaling your overall income and dividing by the number of weeks.  (N.B. Don’t just take 1 weeks wage as an average as you may miss out on overtime, sick days, etc.)

—> Measure your expenses – Once you understand what you are worth and what your income is begin to measure where you money goes.  Carry a small notebook you can pop in your pocket or handbag and make a record of every purchase you make.  Do this for a month to get a real understanding of where you’re spending your money.  Record everything including bills, repayments, where you shopped and the amount you spent.  After the month prioritize your expenses into different categories; essential (food, shelter, rent or mortgage), utilities (heat, water, electricity), loans and leases (car loans), insurances ( home insurance, car insurance, life insurance) and discretionary expenses (other loans, credit card repayments and low priority expenses)

—> Manage Money – Calculating your average monthly income (13 weeks wages divided by 3) and minus your different expenses (if some of your expenses are yearly, then divide the amount by 12 to calculate monthly payments).  This will give you your disposable income.  Use this figure as a baseline for spending.  Ensure you keep at least this much of your wage aside each month (multiply it by 12 and divide by 52 to understand it weekly) and try to put aside a little more each week for that rainy day.

—> Learn to Relax – Financial stress can be a result of the feeling of discomfort over using other people’s money, being in debt, or concerned you may not be able to grow your wealth.  Whatever the case it is important to improve how you can handle money stress.  A good stress relief CD or other relaxation techniques like exercise, relaxation breathing techniques or stress relief programs can help build that threshold and show you how to release and handle unnecessary stress.

Remember, even if you’re stuck in financial stress and your living beyond your means you have the power to change it.  After all, money comes and goes but your health is important.

Are you a Prescription Addict?

Filed under: Uncategorized — BlogAdmin @ 11:44 pm

Exercise ChartAre we being brainwashed into buying prescription drugs? Are we all as sick as they want us to believe?

It’s sad, but America has become a country full of drug addicts. The really sad part is that these drugs are totally legal, pushed by doctors, and advertised to you and your children on a daily basis.

Why is it that you never anyone talking about disease prevention? How about a few less purple pill commercials and maybe a story or two on eating a proper diet?

Did you know that most of today’s major illnesses can be prevented without ever taking a prescription drug? In fact, pharmaceuticals do not cure disease they only mask the symptoms. If you really want to take your health into your own hands, start to eat a healthy diet and get off the couch and move around a little bit!

Diet and Exercise can do more to help you than any doctor, surgery or medication ever will. A measly 30 minutes of walking, swimming, or any activity that gets your heart rate up, can have a huge benefit on your health.
So put down the remote and go take a walk :)

Are Prescription Drugs ineffective and obsolete?

Filed under: Uncategorized — BlogAdmin @ 10:44 pm

meds.jpgWhile Prescription medications might work for acute, emergency health, conventional western medicine has done little to prevent most diseases.

Think about this. Have drugs or surgery done anything to reduce the rates of any major diseases over the last 30 years? Cancer, heart disease, Aids, diabetes, osteoporosis , depression, migraines, have these rates gone down at all?

The sad reality is that some of these diseases are actually on the rise. With the Billions of dollars that are spent on prescription medication every year, why are so many Americans getting sick? Americans pay more than any other country for health care and yet we have the worst health in the world.

It is now estimated that over forty percent of the population is taking prescription medicines on a daily basis. What the heck is going on here? Shouldn’t people be a lot healthier? Why have these diseases failed to go away?

Something needs to be done to reform this broken system, we need to get back to healthier natural way of living and leave behind our addiction to prescription drugs.
They have proven themselves ineffective and obsolete.

Ready to jump into natural health?

Filed under: Uncategorized — BlogAdmin @ 10:13 pm

If you’re like most people, you are probably pretty sick and tired of the health industry, especially The Big Prescription Drug Companies. When the Medications have more side effects than there is something is seriously wrong with the healthcare system.

Remeber this, There are no prescription medications that cure or get rid of the underlying causes of disease. Even the so called “Super meds” are only meant to control your symptoms.

It is time for you to start becoming a skeptical consumer. Know when to say enough is enough! Start investigating what is making you sick, look into natural remedies and check to see if your medications are causing you to have unwanted side effects.

If your doctor doesn’t want to help you explore alternative treatments, Fire Him, and find one who will. There are a lot of very knowledgeable doctors that are starting to jump on the natural health bandwagon. In fact, if enough patients start to demand a change, doctors will have to start listening.

It’s time to take a stand Against Big Pharma!

Is Big Pharma Bribing your Doctor?

Filed under: Uncategorized — BlogAdmin @ 9:59 pm

Paying off your doctorA couple of weeks ago I tried to tell my doctor that I didn’t need the pain medication that he was trying to push on me. And wow did I get a reaction! It’s like they think you have gone nut!

After refusing the medication the nurse came in with a prescription for Extra Strength Ibuprofen. Hey can’t I get that stuff at Walmart without a doctor for a buck? What the heck? I guess No doesn’t mean the same thing to a doctor as it does to me.

Ever wonder why they are so insistent on sending you home with something? Well the more prescriptions they write the more money the pharmaceutical companies throw at them.

The Big Drug Companies have been bribing doctors with free trips, vacations, and lunches for years. And if the doctor’s want to make even more money then Big Pharma writes them a check for $20,000 and calls it a consulting fee. So next time your doctor insists on writing you a prescription you may just want to ask him why he is giving you that particular medication. Either that or ask him for a part of the cut!!!

Are Doctors Pharmaceutical Pushers

doctor writing out a prescriptionA while back a group of researches set out on a little experiment. They wanted to see if doctors would prescribe medications to a patient who had no problems. The people were asked to tell there doctors that they seen a commercial for a popular depression medication on TV.

An amazing thing happened, a whopping 50% of the patients were diagnosed as having depression and another 55% were written a prescription for the medication that they named.

They also found that when the patients gave the doctors an actual name like paxil, they were 5 times more likely to receive that medication than patients who did not mention the prescriptions name.
